After one round of European matches, I thought I would give you my thoughts on what my Welsh squad would be for the Autumn series. Bear in mind this is my squad not necessarily what Warren Gatland will choose.
The squad is due to be announced on the 24th October and going by previous squads the size is normally 36, so I will go with that number for my squad.

27 out of 36 that I and Gatland agreed on.
Squad selection is bold and with no Roberts and Scott Williams in the centre they are clearly looking to go a different route. Will it be via the strong physical but untried Owen Watkin or via a footballler at 12 such as Rhys Patchell, Owen Williams or for the final game, Hadleigh Parkes? Time will tell.
Another selection I found interesting was Sam Cross. Outstanding 7’s player who on Saturday was outstanding for the Ospreys against Saracens. That game was his first ever professional match and Indeed last time he played 80 mins in 15 man game was 2 years ago! I do feel he is a talent but instead of Thomas Young? Find that hard to understand.
